Peer-reviewed Publication
Publishing our work in peer-reviewed journals allows us to effectively share methods and results with the scientific community. Here are a few common journals where biocuration is published:
- DATABASE, The Journal of Biological Databases and Curation (the official journal of the International Society for Biocuration since 2013)
- DATABASE publishes papers from the International Biocuration Conferences on the yearly Biocuration Virtual Issue.
- F1000 (there’s a collection for biocuration at https://f1000research.com/collections/biocuration)
Archival
Archiving the artifacts of curation ensure their long-term availability. There are several resources where this is possible:
- Zenodo (there’s a community tag for ISB at https://zenodo.org/communities/isb)
- FigShare
- Dryad
